His Secret Billionaire Omega Page 20

I was tempted to continue, because I loved how emotionally open Marcus was now, but Coop saved him when he knocked on the door.

"Sorry I'm late," he whispered. "I just didn't want to have to hurry when I meet my main man."

He hovered over Ez's bassinet until I picked the small bundle up and put it in his arms.

  "He's so tiny!" Coop exclaimed.

"He looks good in your arms," I said, leaning against my mate's bed. "About time you start looking for someone to pop them out with, huh?"

"I wish," Coop said, his voice more wistful than I'd ever heard it. "I just can't imagine it before I'm done with school. And even after school, if I want to pursue the opportunities I've been looking at, I don't think I can really set aside enough time for family. Not the way I want to, anyway."

I moved over to give my brother a side hug. "Well, don't worry about it too much. But keep your eyes open, okay? Just because you think the timing isn't right doesn't mean the right person's not right in front of you."

I'd been lucky. Marcus and I had both been at the right time in our lives, in our paths, when we'd finally crossed lines. Or maybe it wasn't luck. Maybe Marcus was right, it was fate. Whatever it was, if it brought the two of us together, it was A-OK in my book.

  About the Author

Harper B. Cole is the pseudonym of three bestselling authors (and best friends), Em, Kay, and Bea, who lie to their mothers about how they make their money. We love telling stories in the Omegaverse, and absolutely adore reading them. We are all mothers, and we'll probably lie to our kids about the existence of our books as well.

When a strange man starts asking him questions he doesn't understand, but promises him answers, he follows him to this strange group that might be a cult. Suddenly, he's rooming with a sexy guy named Tanner, who has been assigned to guide him. Until Tanner, he liked his sex like he liked his jobs: quick and dirty.   Tanner didn't expect Knives, and he's not what he dreamed of... he's more.

Tanner has a good life as an omega of the Maple Ridge Pack, but he's dreamed of the day when he would find an alpha to suit him and being making a life and a family together. Knives isn't anything like what he expected, but Tanner knows immediately that he's found his true mate. Tanner's connections run deep in Maple Ridge, but he already knows that no matter where Knives goes, he will follow.
